Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

This recipe is a wonderful way to enjoy a delicious cut of meat.  Plus, you get to save money because at the restaurant, it would be expensive and at home you can make as much as you want.  Heres the ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
(1) 3LB piece of beef brisket
salt and pepper
garlic powder and onion powder
Tango Spice Company's (He's on YouTube also) Midnight Espresso or any spice blend with Coffee
(1) red onion sliced into thick slices
(1/2) bottle of garlic BBQ Sauce
(1/2) bottle of onion BBQ Sauce (in the video I just used whatever BBQ sauce I had you can use your favorite Brand)

DIRECTIONS:
First, slice the onions into thick slices.  This would be used as a natural liner for our slow cooker so that after 8 hrs of cooking it wouldn't thick.  The onions would also add a delicious aroma to the sauce.  Next, sprinkle all the spices listed above onto the meat on BOTH sides.  Rub it down well.  Next, simply place the onions on the bottom of the Slow Cooker then place the meat on top.  I have the larger size Slow Cooker I fit in the entire 3LB nicely, but if you have to, you may have to cut your piece of meat.  Next, pour the BBQ sauce ontop of the meat.  Put some water into the bottles and give it a good shake to use up every last drop of the BBQ sauce for more flavor.  Switch the slow cooker to LOW and just leave and go for 8 hrs and you will come home to a delicious smell of BBQ.  For serving, some people like to slice it.  Mine was too soft to slice, so we did it the same way as you would a pulled pork sandwich.  All the onions melted in with the sauce.  The meat just soaks up the sauce.  At the end, we served them as sandwiches with a delicious side salad.  What a delicious way to have an indoor BBQ!!!!!
