Crepes

A lot of Grocery stores sells packaged of Crepes.  But they can get expensive with around 5 per package and around $6-$7 CDN per pack.  Restaurants can make good crepes too but it can also get expensive.  It is not that hard to make your own. It is also very simple ingredients.  You can also switch it up to make it a savory crepe by either adding in Italian seasoning or Curry powder to the batter and fill it with Chicken and other salty Fillings if desired.

Ingredients:
(1) cup all purpose white flour
little bit of sugar (1/3) cup sugar
pinch of salt
some water until the batter forms into a pancake-like batter

DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl with the flour, add in the sugar, salt and the water.  Keep on stirring until a batter like consistency forms.  Almost like when you are making pancakes.  You may need to add more flour to make it more thick as you go so keep some handy.  Next when the batter is ready, pour the batter into a preheated sprayed pan.  Slowly swirl the batter in the pan.  Keep on swirling to make it as thin as we can.  It will start to bubble and pop.  When you see the crepe start to peel from the edge of the pan, it means it is ready to flip.  In the Video, I just used my bare hands to flip it over.  Now, we just heat it up a bit more until it is nicely browned.  Also, when the Crepe is almost ready, it should not stick to the pan and should swirl freely when you move it with a spatula.  In the Video, the amounts that I am showing you made exactly 3 Crepes.  Adjust the ingredients as needed.  I served the Crepes rolled up in some jam.  You can use any morning fruits that you like.  I hope that you enjoy this Recipe.
