Garlic Shrimp Skillet

Here is a flavorful twist on the Classical favorite - Jambalaya.  The garlic is very tasty and this is a sure favorite Change from the usual Spaghetti and Meatballs.

Ingredients:
(1) package of shrimp that is thawed and deveined  and peeled
(1/2) standard size package of Chicken weiners
(1) half size jar of Garlic flavored salsa
(1) standard size can of tomato sauce
minced garlic
chili sauce
mixed vegetables
Italian seasoning
cooked and prepared spaghetti
no extra salt is needed because of the salsa

DIRECTIONS:
Cut up the wieners into bite size chunks.  Prepare the pasta according to package directions and drain and set aside.  Peel and wash the frozen shrimp and set into a bowl.  When all of these are prepped, we preheat a pan that has been sprayed down with cooking oil.  Put in the minced garlic and Chili sauce.  When everything is nice and sizzling, we put in the shrimp and the wieners.  We cook this until the shrimp is pink - that means the Shrimp is cooked.  Next, sprinkle in the Italian seasoning.  Mix well.  Next, add in the jar of Salsa.  Dont worry if the shrimp is still slightly brown.  Shrimp cooks really fast and by the time everything is mixed in it will be done perfect.  You do not want to have overcooked shrimp.  Mix well the Salsa.  Next, goes in the Tomato Sauce.  Cover the pan with a lid and let simmer for a few minutes until the Shrimp is cooked thru.  Also at this point you can add your vegetables.  Afterwards, add in the spaghetti. Mix well.  At first, it might seem like it is a lot of sauce but when everything is done, it is the perfect amount.  When everything is done, the color would be so nice and gorgeous.  I hope you will give this dish a try.
