One day I craved for Korean food so I googled it and found this recipe.
I just changed the recipe a bit the ratio of brown sugar and soy sauce.
The original recipe was too liquidy for my liking. Here are the
ingredients. This is a pantry friendly recipe with only 2 ingredients
which is brown sugar and soy sauce.
Ingredients:
(2) boneless skinless chicken breast diced
(1/2) cup soy sauce
(1) cup brown sugar
seasame oil to taste
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
cayenne pepper to taste
vegetables any type your choice
Directions:
Pour both sugar and soy sauce in a bowl. Mix well. Put the diced
chicken into the soy sauce mixture. At this stage you would not want to
add any spices to it. You want the chicken to soak up just the soy
sauce mixture. Next, place the soy sauce mixture and meat into a
plastic bag. Put this in the fridge to marinade for at least 2 hrs.
When it is time to cook dinner, pour the chicken out into the preheated
pan. You can see the chicken would have soaked up the sauce and have a
caramilized look. Simmer it for awhile in the pan until the chicken is
cooked through. Sprinkle on the seasame oil, garlic powder, salt and
pepper and the cayenne pepper. Next, pour in the vegetables. Stir
everything well together. Make sure everything is heated through.
Next, serve it with some rice. This is one of our top choice go-tos if
we want to have some Asian night dinner at home. Thanks for watching
and I'll see you again next time. Thanks for watching.
