Ingredients:
Meat:
(1) 3LB Beef Roast
(4-5) carrots you need to peel and chop
(1) red onion peel and chop
(1) cup of cooking white wine
dash of pepper
(2) tsp garlic bread seasoning
(2) tsp onion powder
Gravy:
(2) tablespoons butter
(1/4) cup flour for thickening
Directions:
First, peel and chop the carrots and onions and set aside. Next, wash
and pat dry your meat. Rub on the seasonings. Place the vegetables
into the slow cooker. Then nestle the meat ontop of the vegetables.
Pour the white wine over everything. Turn the Slow Cooker on low heat
for 8 hrs or High Heat for 4 hrs. It usually doesn't take beef very
long to cook in the slow cooker. I recommend if you have someone come
home earlier than you to ask them to check the meat and turn the KEEP
WARM function.
When you are ready, we have to prepare the gravy. Take out the meat
and put on a plate to rest. Separate the vegetables from the liquid and
put into a boil. Pour the liquid onto a saucepan. Bring the sauce to
the boil. Add the butter and mix well to melt. Then, gradually add the
flour until it turns to the thickness that you desire.
Serve the gravy in a gravy boat.
Enjoy!!!
