Halloumi Cheese

So, for todays video, there isn't really a recipe for this so lets just talk about it.  Halloumi Cheese is a cheese from Greece.  It is now available all over the world.  Sometimes you have to go to a Fancy Greek shop to find it in some Cities or in some bigger Cities you can just find it in your local supermarket.

The interesting thing about Halloumi cheese is that it has a very hard texture.  It can be pan fried or grilled.  It might look like its melting but its not.  It still remains quite nice and chewy texture.  It is also slightly salty.  It is similar to Mozzarella.   So if you like Mozzarella cheese, this cheese would be a safe cheese for you to experiment. 

I used this cheese on the burgers, using the Dinner Rolls that I made in the Dinner Rolls video.  But you can enjoy this cheese any way that you like or as a side dish.

Also, Halloumi cheese is not cheap but it tastes good.  I hope you will try out Halloumi cheese and I will see you again soon.
