Slow Cooker Cola Chicken

Here is a delicious, few ingredient recipe that I discovered.  These ingredients are probably all easy to find ingredients that are all in your pantry already.  One note is: Please do not use Diet Cola.  It will not taste the same for this recipe.  This recipe came from getcrocked.com or also known as the Crock Pot Girl.

Ingredients:
(6) boneless, skinless Chicken breasts.  You can adjust amount of Chicken as needed.
(1) Onion chopped
(1) cup Cola (not diet)
(1) cup Ketchup
salt and pepper
garlic powder
onion powder

DIRECTIONS:
First, chop up the Onions and place into the Slow Cooker. Next, take out the frozen chicken directly from the package.  Do not worry about cooking chicken frozen in the Slow Cooker it will turn out phenomenal.  Some brands of Frozen Chicken calls it "Seasoned" which means it has salt already.  If your package says that it means you do not have to add any additional salt to the Recipe.  Next, simply add in the black pepper, garlic powder, and Onion powder liberally all over the Chicken.  Finally, add in the Ketchup and the Cola.  Plug in the Slow Cooker and turn it on to low heat for 8-10 hrs.  This meal has lots of flavor and would surely turn your usual Chicken dinner into a family favorite.  I served it with rice, but I'm sure you can either shred it to make sandwich or serve it with Mashed Potato.
